Over the Garden Wall

It’s the first day of autumn! No better time to finally watch the Cartoon Network mini series Over the Garden Wall, created by Patrick McHale, who was the creative director of Adventure Time. It reminded me a lot of Gravity Falls, with its similar humor, truly scary at times for a kids show, and most importantly, its genius storytelling. I love its folk soundtrack, it perfectly fits the folk narrative. Elijah Wood is always a win. It’s as perfect as a children’s cartoon can get.
