Pleasantville

A great film, like wow. They enter the series which takes place around 1950’s where segregation of blacks and whites were still going on. You get a sense of segregation because they tried removing specific things relating to the characters that became colored. They were also not allowed in specific places. Not only that, but even a bit of the period during the Holocaust & everything that went on in America about the war and standing up for what you believe in, was also hinted at in a way. Also great actors and characters.
