Avengers: Infinity War

The very best the MCU has to offer. No matter how cgi heavy the film felt or how many generic superhero one liners were thrown in, Infinity War always managed to bring me back into the story. There are moments of really fantastic filmmaking, with several scenes consisting of very little dialogue and instead focusing on the artistic shots that convey impressive acting and visual effects. Even all these years later, it truly is a feat to see how well Marvel was able to take all of their respective franchises and characters and put them into a huge culmination movie that gives each and every said character a real purpose for being there. The normal generic Marvel quips and cliches are present (as well as an extremely heavy reliance on cgi), but Infinity War manages to deliver a truly satisfying film that was ten years in the making full of some of the best acting, sound design, action, and writing the MCU has ever had.
