I’m not going to pretend that I understand this film, because I obviously don’t. This centrifugal film feels organic but is obviously carefully constructed. Down to the cut to black that sucks in all the noise, leaving the audience to do as they will with the scenes they just watched. I saw this comment about this director’s films “They’re striving to blow your mind but tend to leave a hollow aftertaste.” I will have to rewatch it when I’m more educated and come up with a reaction. (I really did like the keywords offered at the beginning by the deaf students though, that felt beautiful.)
