Georgetown
a very ambitious film, with a difficult plotline and a predictable but confusing ending, three things that usually dont work together in a movie. though i love every second of it and i would rewatch it any time.
christoph waltz is just... superb as ulrich mott, an adaptable social climber who gets his away through his wife, elsa breht, played by the iconic vanessa redgrave. elsa's daughter, amanda, steals every second, since annette bening plays her, role which reminds me of her in 'american beauty'. these three work so well together that they save this film from being a mess. thank god actors exist
