Adolescence
I’m still processing how it’s even possible for EVERYONE in this series to act so damn well. From Jamie’s lawyer to the chair the psychologist sits in (literally, you can feel the tension in the furniture), the level of performance is out of this world.
About Jamie... I mean, I get that bullying messes with your head, but jumping from "I'm fed up" to killing a girl is such a heavy leap. I need Katie’s best friend to go into full revolution mode and take him down already. I don't understand how a show can be this raw and real at the same time. 10/10 for the trauma and 10/10 for the acting.
No excuses, straight to the guillotine. It’s infuriating to see how his stupid actions didn't just ruin his life, but destroyed everyone around him. Seeing his father being called a "pedophile" and the whole family suffering is gut-wrenching.
The scene where the father puts Jamie’s stuffed animal to sleep breaks me into pieces, blaming himself for his son’s actions because, obviously, he’s a minor... My god, I get so deep into the characters' shoes in every movie/series I watch that one day I’m going to end up with psychological issues from how much every film, series, song, or podcast I see or hear affects me
