Cute Devil

First film of the year and it’s a terrifying work from Obayashi. Alice is so goddamn evil man, and the ending is extremely predictable but still feels like it could’ve been the only ending to this damn film. Obayashi films always look fantastic and this was no exception. Going to try to focus more on directors this year, so except lots more Obayashi in the near future here. I think that if I had only seen Hausu one time, this would probably be his most terrifying film. Kids get away with everything huh
