96/100 God bless IMAX. I honestly forgot how great this movie looked and felt. And how entertaining it is despite the 3 hour run time. And how much depth each and every character exudes. And how perfectly it blends both tangible and magical elements, without ever seeming too out of the reach of reality. Interstellar is not just an invitation, but a mandate to literally and figuratively reach for the stars. We live on a crumbling planet, and we exist within the void of our own minds. The solution to both glaring issues resides in our aptitude for risk-taking, fearlessness and sacrifice. Life is not black and white, like the night skies make it seem. Somewhere out there is a light at the end of tunnel. But often that requires us to jump into the black hole of uncertainty. Interstellar is an inspiration because it makes the impossible seem possible.
