I love how Jeremy Renner does his job for like 30 seconds in this film and for the rest he’s just Amy Addam’s emotional support animal.
Amazing film! I usually don’t like that many sci-fi movies, but this worked for me. I think it was mainly because this alien film felt very human. A lot of sci-fi movies tend to get overcomplicated and I get lost or don’t feel connected to the plot. Instead this film focused on language and connection, introduced just a few characters and locations and kept it easy to follow and to enjoy.
