Poor Things

This was a fever dream. it was amazing in most parts, the performances, the dialogue, the costumes, the visuals, but i can see the criticism. How is there not in all the fucking any menstruation or bad experiences. i don’t really think it’s feminist when they are fucking basically a young child, but she likes it. Imagine if she wasn’t in a body of an adult woman, if she actually was her mental age. It would be a hard watch. I just wish her freedom wasn’t so focused on sex even though it’s a very important part and more about her coming of age and discovering the world like when she found out about the cruelty of the world and philosophy or when she was finding friends and talking to other women. But I must say the film made me laugh and the end was satisfying.
