Chasing Amy

fuck that was good holy shit definitely my favourite kevin smith film yet. But spoiler alert no one in this is called amy. Also i can't believe mr chupmunks has been in so many other good movies he has this, Almost Famous and Mallrats lines up dude bagged the 90s and early 2000s i know people are going to hate this movie because they see it as man turns lesbian straight but that is so obviously not what happened alyssa is obviously bisexual, identifying as a lesbian 1. because she has had shitty relationships with men (she fucking says so 70mins into the movie) and 2. for the entertainment factor for the audience. This movie does not carry the message that any guy can turn a lesbian straight its saying love is love whoever the fuck its with and its a fluid and complex thing that a lot of people are confused and insecure about.
