Cure
So, magnificent cinematography, beautiful music pieces, amazing acting, pure phenomenal dialogue and the most catching thrilling movie ever, and still there’s people that don’t like this movie?
Truly truly an amazing film and Kurosawa is an incredible director, not akira, kiyoshi. What he does so great is that he builds up this suspenseful crime story while building a relationship between not only us and the lead but also between takabe and mamiya.
Honestly I think Mamiya is one of the most complex and interesting characters I’ve ever come across. Takabe is also one of the most interesting characters ever you just want to know the character and learn him. Koji Yakusho did that lead phenomenally I mean that performance what out of hand-good. He makes the character so realistic. The scene where he seas his wife hanging in the kitchen or just his overall mental break throughout the 111 minutes, you just see what a wickedly talented actor he is.
The movie catches you right from the start and doesn’t let you go.
The asian upgrade of seven and a true masterpiece.
