Satantango

Logging for intermission 1: So far, I think Tarr has cleverly created this bleak atmosphere through the well-used b&w colouring, music, dialogue, long shots & slow pacing, and even little details like the sound of footsteps in the mud work incredibly. As for storytelling, he puts us into this society beautifully, whilst creating this whole new world for the audience, brilliant film so far. (I will log for intermission 2 and the end as well)
