”Will you help me write a song?” ”Always” 2016 was really one of the best years in cinematic history. This film is one of my all time favorites and in my opinion one the best films ever. Such width of emotion and themes compacted in such a tightly paced and beautiful shape. Love of music, friendship, young love, rebellion and dreaming of a place far away. It’s so incredible to see a music movie not just about making it big but simply about the joy in creating and the joy in doing it together. John Carney you’re such a master.
