i watched the open matte version and i absolutely LOVED the cinematics and the soundtrack. the coloring is just so los angeles and retro especially with the synth-pop and i love the way everything is framed. it's all so meticulous and i appreciate that so much in a film. it's also unapologetically gory and usually i'd get squeamish but wow the way some of the scenes were done was really good.
