Nolan WAS a genius, IS a genius, and WILL continue to be a genius til the end of cinema. Very unique experience watching this in 70mm theater. Cilian Murphy killed in so many ways and I have not doubt that Nolan should win that Oscar.
Every scene feels like a cataclysm that it’s inevitably going to happen. Nolan demonstrates that Oppenheimer’s story is one worth telling, and he does it beautifully.
