Pride & Prejudice

PRIDE, an epidemic that even I tend to fall for. This film is so brilliant, it isn’t easy to adapt a book to a film. In fact, most directors aren’t great at it but it isn’t the case for Joe Wright.  The chemistry between Elizabeth and Darcy is so remarkable that it made me believe in love again. It may sound like an exaggeration, but I am being honest. I am not an expert in this type of dialogue , nor I claim to be but this one resonated with me to the core. Every sentence full of purpose, every scene full of purpose, and every interaction between the characters full of purpose. I have never been so eager to know what was going to happen next, and my inability to predict what was going to happen made it exponentially more enjoyable.  Elizabeth’s actress is one of the greats. She conveys feelings with nothing but facial expressions. I truly loved this film, perhaps is my own hope for a love like this one.
