Hamnet
What is given may be taken away at any time.
Watched Hamnet in the cinema and OH MY GOD it was my first ever cinema experience, and I was completely blown away. Jessie Buckley delivered one of the best performances of this century. I absolutely lost it when she started calling for her mother while delivering a baby. And the moment she reached out her hand and everyone united through art was incredibly powerful. Seeing it all on the big screen felt like pure magic. started sobbing so many times. The cinematography was UNBELIVABLE. Jessie and Paul had insane chemistry. And that baby boy deserves every Oscar ever. It’s been over four hours since I finished the movie and I still can’t move on, I replay every scene from it constantly. Literally wtf did they put into it.
I always wanted my first cinema experience to be something special and memorable, and it truly was. I had to move to another city to watch it since there’s no cinema in my town, such a shame.
This is what happens when you hand a camera to a woman like Chloé Zhao. This masterpiece truly deserves every single Oscar it's been nominated for.
Alsoo who decided it was a great idea to suffer me this way and put on the nature of daylight as a score, left the building completely shattered
