Superman

I think it was so refreshing to see such a pro-human stance in mainstream media, especially in a time where people think being apolitical is cute and will absolve them of having no backbone ! Granted, I don't know much about superhero lore, therefore, I was a little confused in the beginning, but I understood it was redundant to try and give a whole backstory to a figure who had existed for 90 years prior, but also that it was counterproductive to the plot of Clark rewriting the narrative following his upbringing and who shaped him as a human- being. The color grading in this film was also really nice and captivated me throughout :)
