Dune: Part Two

“We don’t hope, we plan”  Oh what is there to say that hasn’t already been said. Although i will note that a second viewing so quickly while just as satisfying is kind of dampening. This is a movie to see for the first time — what a spectacle. A year from now the double feature will go so fucking hard. Cannot and will not wait for dune messiah. I NEED IT. and mr villeneuve u better not piss me off ur scaring me with all the deleted scenes we might never see and that “no dialogue” nonsense. It’s so clear that this is a passion project and it pays off so well. This is our LOTR, our Gladiator, this is THE epic for us kids and what a treat that is. Dune is the father of contemporary sci-fi and it has been done justice and to see all its inspirations get to flourish and now it finally gets the limelight it deserves. it’s poetic.
