Anyways Anand is a bit more than just a film to me. It's something that makes me feel alive, something that makes me feel like maybe life will get better, something that makes me feel like I'll be a better person again, someone who I will love. And this is mostly because of Roopa.
The more I watch Roopa, the more I find her to be an elder sibling figure in my life. She's everything I aspire to be and somewhat already am. Growing up, I ended up gaining some of her qualities: stubbornness (which is a plus and a minus), an ego (again, a plus and a minus) (I also ended up cutting my hair cuz a creep said that's what he really liked about me), and love for Carnatic music and podugu jada. And she literally has everything I want: independent nature, maturity, confidence, fearlessness, a group of friends who genuinely care for her, and an Anand. She's someone who I have always looked up to ever since I was a kid, and I still do. I genuinely aspire to be Roopa, someone who understands her worth, someone who can bravely cancel her wedding on the day of, despite knowing that the world is going to say that it's all because of a cheera. Thank you, Roopa, for being my role model, and for constantly reminding me what I am worth.
Also special mention to @reenshake, the Raju to my Anand (choosthunnantha sepu nuvve gurthochav raw, ily my hype woman <3)
