Had to watch it after getting disappointed upon the news of its rerelease in Tamilnadu and Karnataka on Thalaivar's birthday 😭 The fact that Subbalakshmi gains feelings for Surya during sunrise ("Yamuna Thatilo") and leaves him during sunset (iconic "Sundari" BGM) 🥲🤍 Also yes the sunset scene of Surya when Subbalakshmi is fricking iconic, but can we also appreciate literally the next scene, the sunrise silhouette shot of Surya learning about his mother and denying the fact that she actually is his mother?
