Nope

I’m so hungry I could eat a uhhhhh. Nope js a brilliant horror film that is just so unique and just an outstanding classic summer blockbuster. Like the tension increases slowly and in such a natural way like I was hooked for the whole dang movie. And those moments where we get a little bit of information or parts of a bad miracle were just so so so good. Like they just had such style and great direction it made the whole movie so much fun and tense. The blood house scene and jupes scene were some real highlights for me. The writing I found to be pretty damn great like all the plot points feel natural and all the payoffs are really satisfying. This movie was also pretty interesting for me bc it takes the more symbolic and vague elements of us and makes it a little more mainstream. And I think it serves this movie really well because where us felt like it had a message lost in translation or a puzzle piece split into a hundred pieces nope feels like it has a real self assurance in its message and allegories. Like it’s never bashing you on th head with it or too cryptic it’s just enough to get across in a cool and meaningful way. Like all th animal parallels to the entertainment industry to our adrenaline junkie society I found it all really cool.  It makes it so like there’s still a lot to dissect and discuss but I imagine it’s more fun to put these pieces together because it’s alot clearer than us. The movie is also peeles best looking like I think the camera work really glues all the messages and pieces together if that makes sense. Like the choice to hide it away for most the movie and like yearning to see it serving our deep seek for thrill it’s really cool. It also does like paint this gulch in a cool way like it has such a vibe to it. I also think the acting was great, keke palmer and Daniel kaluuya give charming and interesting performances that carry the movie. Stephen Yuen was also fun I always loved him and Branden pereira was really funny. And overall I think this one is just fun and incredibly incredibly unique that will prob be my fav peele movie. Is get out better? Yea. But do I like nope more? Yea!  This one feels like not checking test grades bc you know it’s bad
