Good Time

This movie had really good twists and literally had me at the edge of my seat the whole time, Josh safdie you can definitely see a lot of similarities with this and Marty supreme in the way that Connie speaks and his narrative of fighting tooth and nail to get to your goal, the twist that Connie broke out the wrong person instead of his brother was so well done.  I didn’t think crystal and Connie’s “relationship”had any importance, but the scene where he takes advantage of her though really creepy and uncomfortable shows how far gone and irredeemable Connie is. the ending wasn’t as satisfying as it was up to interpretation but you could put the pieces together and realises that Connie is probably in federal prison, I like the ending shot though of Benny’s character in the institute. I do like the way how the Safdies though don’t work together anymore unfortunately, you can see a lot of similarities with all of there characters, Marty mouser, Howard, Connie and mark in all their movies and I like that about them though mark is a bit different than the others.  I also wanted to see if the actor for ray was in any other movies besides this because I thought he was a really good actor, turns out he was struggling with addiction and had a self induced heat attack from substances and passed away in his apartment, it is a shame and I do think he was a very talented actor and could have been going places. Rest In peace.
