Joker

I really like this version of Gotham, I like the whole 60s early 70s vibe and the way they make Gotham a bit more lively looking but it’s still the same crime ridden city. I like this take of the joker making him just a mentally ill and depressing version compared the long green hair and lipstick smiled version he’s normally portrayed as, Arthur fleck is such a awkward and hard to watch character but in the last act where he becomes “the joker” it really pays off, the scene on the talk show “you get what you fuckin deserve!” Is the best scene in the movie because we finally get to see Arthur boil over. One of my favourite acting performances and it definitely deserves the Oscar Joaquin Phoenix got. Phenomenal
