Misery

This film was stunning! Stephen King yet again has great movie adaptation. Shocker. This movie is always compelling and never gets boring. Although Annie is evil, at the beginning I feel sympathy for her like she’s some lonely old lady. But, by the time the credits roll, it’s clear that is not the case. She is excellently played by Kathy Bates. Paul is also an awesome character. You can see at the beginning he kinda feels bad for her too. I liked how he tried numerous times to kill Annie, but something would always go wrong. This movie is so dreadful. Cinematography is something this movie is surprising great at. The exterior snow shots are beautiful. For a film that mainly takes place in one location, and the main character is bedridden it blows the expectations out of the water. I do think sometimes the police scenes took away from what I wanted to see, but only sometimes. Overall, an amazing, and creepy movie. Definitely worth a watch.
