Infernal Affairs

One of the greatest 'crime' films of all time. I mean it must be to everyone else if Martin Scorsese creates a reimagined version. I really enjoyed this, especially with it's tight and fast pacing. Despite this fast pacing, it never felt rushed, and there were definitely more calmer or talkier scenes than ones filled with stereotypical action. I think the story is much deeper than what's displayed on screen and I thought the story was very interesting, very engaging, and although sometimes I was a little lost, that just comes down to me being dumb. Tony Leung is the goat too, his performances are always so good and doesn't disappoint in this. If you've watched The Departed (2006), you should definitely watch this original, and imo the better version (they are fundamentally the same story just told very differently).
