Straight Outta Compton
Wow I’m rewatching all my favorite movies cuz I think I wanna redo my top 4 on my profile and yep this is so deserving of a spot. I do believe it has some flaws like a few actors, but from the first time I saw this movie to the 20th time watching it now it’s such a perfect film to me. For a longish movie, scene by scene it progresses an amazing story and I don’t get bored of any of it. The soundtrack to this movie is golden and not just the NWA songs either, everything fits and is so perfect with the late 80s California vibe. I think the second half of the movie is super rushed but the story has so many years to cover and the first half with the creation of the group completely makes up for it. Ending also has me in my feels every single time, they absolutely nail it. Like I said, this movie will definitely not be a 5 star to everyone but this isn’t leaving my Mount Rushmore anytime soon
