Arrival

6 months ago I didn't understand it much but now, I do. "communication is limited by perspective" is such a true line and it profoundly differentiates the main character from like everyone else on earth. i didn't realise the first scene was from the future on my first watch and its all a full circle which is such a neat knot at how when you perceive time non-linearly everything is a full circle; as it is how language/communication takes place by the alien boys. surely my favourite villeneuve film!
