Backrooms

Within the first thirty seconds, Forrest had his hands over his eyes, Isaac was crumpled in his seat with his hat brim pulled down, and Conner was hiding under a blanket. This was the most fun movie theater experience I've been part of. This movie is so exciting all the way through. It felt like a classic horror movie, one of the slightly campy but well-written ones from the early 2000s. You don't really know what is going on for most of the movie, but within the chaos of a world that makes no sense, there's a good story with interesting characters and scary stuff happening. I'm not comparing this against pre-existing backrooms lore, I'm judging it as a standalone horror film. I think it rocks.
