Godzilla
"I can't believe that Godzilla was the last of his species. If nuclear testing continues, then someday, somewhere in the world, another Godzilla may appear."
Goosebumps. This the best interpretation of Gojira, the pioneer of Kaiju genre. Gojira was a mighty, peaceful creature until atomic bomb testing hits entire his body, turning his skin black(burn scars) or keloid. The fascinating side of Gojira is that he was created to help Japanese people process the trauma of the H-bomb. Even the release year is a chilling coincidence, 1945(H-bomb tragedy) /reverse/1954(Gojira released).
