Himizu
"you are a flower, one of a kind. and you have dream, dont give up."
A boy who never touch a love in his life. Himizu is an extremely motivating film for me, making me more grateful for and appreciative of my life. Yuichi Sumida is an independent child who is filled with lack of affection, parental abuse, despair, identity crisis, and violance all at the same time. This film is both disturbing and beautiful.
The visual are stunning. I felt they had the clearest film camera ever, and i love the atmosphere of intense action created by the shaky camera and loud heartbeat, which makes my mind feel thilling. As for the BGM, they repetitively playing Mozart, a classical music song and may be the of greatest needledrops ever.
As the youngest child who lost both parents, the movie "Himizu" by Sion Sono represents and relates to every aspect of my life. One thing sumida needs from his life is find ether(lilychouchou) xd*.

It's a Shame that some of the foreign critics didn't seem to understand that the reference to 2011 earthquake was neither meant to drive the plot nor intended to be the reason these character are in despair. I clearly say that Himizu won't be a film for everyone. Great work by Sion Sono, the director, and i absolutely cant wait to see more of his work.
