Superman

DC is in good hands with James Gunn. - This movie has the same feeling marvel used to give me when I was a kid but so much better (marvel’s gone stale over the past few years imo). Which is obviously because it’s directed by the man who gave us Guardians of the Galaxy (probably my favorite marvel movie). - It also made me lowkey emotional? David Corenswet is not just playing Superman he IS Superman- he flows with the character so nicely. I’ve stated in past reviews that not everyone can pull that off but David does it almost perfectly. - The hopefulness of Superman is back in full force, Man of Steel felt very stiff and cold which isn’t what you want in a Superman movie (I hate Zack Snyder). This one gave me the same feeling Spider-Man (2002) gives me lowkey. Just pure happiness and childlike wonder and whimsy. - This is a great superhero movie and makes me excited for what’s to come with DC (let’s hope it doesn’t lose its spark by overproducing movies).
