I’m now determined to watch all of Jeff Goldblum’s movies lmao. - This one was disgustingly good. With sfx by the same artist who did Gremlins I was obviously going to like it. - The reveal of Jeff Goldblum’s final form at the end had my jaw on the FLOOR- it was nasty, disgusting, repulsive, and I LOVED IT. - The writing was good, the acting was fantastic, this now sits high up on my list of favs. Jeff Goldblum’s slow dive into insanity was very fun to watch, his transformation throughout the movie made me gasp quite a few times. The regurgitation scenes made me sick- Although it was totally worth it at the end when he used his stomach acid to melt that guys hand off. - I love the balance as well. The first half is a happy romcom-esque movie about a reporter and scientist building a relationship, then what comes after is pure grotesque nonsense. - Definitely worth the $4 I spent to rent it
