Scream

Wes Craven back like he never left. A master class in the slasher horror is what you’d expect from the man who made Nightmare on Elm Street- and he sure delivers. With a new original movie unburdened by big sequel expectations he kicks off a new franchise with a classic. He delivers some classic tropes while making fun of others. Using randy as an audience tool to point out horror movie flaws and redirecting our attention on them is genius. There’s some great kills, and a great story.
