Superman

Cannot thank James Gunn enough for making this. Encapsulates everything I love about the character. It shows he is not just some perfect being who is better than humanity in every way, but he is a man who is trying to do his best.  The best piece of media outside of the comics that encapsulates the idea that Superman is someone who tries to represent the best parts of humanity, not if someone was already those things. He is what Clark, a person raised in a small town by good people with good values, believes true good to be. He does not always make the right decision, he questions himself, but he still tries to do what’s best in the face of immense outside pressure, and loads of self doubt.  James Gunn understands the character, and understands the world, so clearly. I cannot wait to see what he does next.
