YES this film is cheesy YES this film is in some places badly written YES the costumes may be a bit tacky but it is truly inspiring. Never use a borrowed voice. this film is truly about the stuggles of being a queer teenager and how it can really mess up you're life. and how you have this peer pressure to hide that about yourself because because you are different. and how, if the wrong people know, it can drive someone to lose everything. and how even older people have to hide it from people too, because they are expect to just live their life without any complications because they get older or because they have someone who loves them. if you spend you're whole life being someone you're not, who's going to be you? words to fucking live by.
