Lady Bird
the first time i watched it i felt pretty pissed off with either Lady Bird or her circle, hence the dry 4 stars without a heart.
now, as i am standing on the precipice of coming of age, being in a senior year of high school if i was to use american vocabulary to describe such gentle and scary truth that i am graduating in 9 months, this film has penetrated my confused adolescent psyche and touched me deeply.
i still have a lot of differences with Christine, but that's the beauty of it.
oh, and i can remember pretty clearly that what has upset me the first time watching it was seeing the friendship Lady Bird had with her classmate Julie, as i was going through a friendship break-up... and today i shared this film with my new classmate-friend <3
