final rewatch in cinema, i just gotta say goddamn Renate Reinsve might be the best talent of our generation, she has such a natural approach to portraying mental illness like depression and anxiety and it really just hits me in the feelings. Skarsgård plays an amazing Scandinavian dad, Gustav is like my dad (🇳🇴) and grandpa (🇩🇰) in one person and this movie really made me mourn both mine and my mothers father figures. we might’ve gotten snubbed BAD but surely we’re coming for the oscars…
