‘the things i couldve done differently. but we cant change it you know. all we have is now.’
i don't think theres a single thing id change about this movie
its so frightening how life can fall apart so easily and this movie portrays that so well for tyler. whats even more beautiful is how every person was grieving about what had happened so differently yet so similar. the difference between the dad the mom and emilys way of coping with their situation to luke dealing with his trauma. heartbreaking
the transition of tylers perspective of pain and agony in the first half to emilys perspective of getting back into the world and healing in the second half of the was so well done. they both played their roles so well and taylor russels acting blew me away. i loved lucas’s acting in manchester by the sea and he did not disappoint here.
the changing of aspect ratio after every chapter and the cinematography was so pleasant nd u cant forget the soundtrack. not a single miss.
lifes too short to hate; grieve forgive and forget because you have so much more love to give out to the world.
