Helluva Boss

Same with Hazbin wasn't expecting to log this but after liking Hazbin this was obviously the next thing to do. I've only seen Season 1 yet and will edit when I've finished Season 2. Helluva Boss while similar to Hazbin is also very clearly different. I can see why one would like one and not the other or liking both (like me). Its definitely less song oriented and is trying to get more laughs out of you. Overall it is a funnier show than Hazbin but even though there styles of humour are similar I can see why someone would prefer Hazbins humour. I think its easier to get in compared to Hazbin aswell. Its got more of a status quo feel to it compared to Hazbins story building especially comparing the finales to both first seasons. One is just a normal episode the other is a ending to a story told in 8 episodes. Character wise there's far less of them meaning it is easier to get attached to them. The screen time of the main characters compared to Hazbin is sometimes insane with all of the main cast having decent sized roles whereas Hazbin has episodes where main characters don't speak at all (I swear there's episodes where Alastor doesn't appear at all). So if you do have a favourite character there's a bigger shot of them appearing and having a good role compared to Hazbin. It's full of energy kinda bursting at the seams especially during the shorter episodes. Really entertaining stuff. I really enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to carrying on watching it Just finished Season 2 and I can still say I really enjoyed it. Definitely feels more different but in a positive way. In a storytelling way. There is alot more back story and lore to these characters and you get attached to them more than season 1. Comparing it to Hazbin it feels abit more emotional nothing insane no tear jerking scenes but scenes that make you feel something. While I praise this shows commitment on shining on every character in season 1 there is a handful of episodes this season where some main characters are barley in it. Some episodes are just Blitzø and one other character which is great for his character (his character archis the most impressive things visipop has written for a character) I just wish more characters got to shine in particular Luna. The season 1 finale kinda did that but there is so much more potential with her character. This season also has one of if not the best hellaverse episode I've seen being Sinsmas. Its so fun, heartwarming, emotional and just a fantastic time all around amazing episode. Great season. The Mission Zero pilot re do is also really entertaining. Good shit overall
