Adolescence

this has got to be one of the greatest pieces of filmmaking in recent years, i watched it all in one go and to be honest i think that’s the best way to experience it. The one shot episodes are astonishingly impressive. The actors are all impeccable (special shoutout to the psychologist, she was my highlight) And the emotional impact of this might actually peak anything i’ve seen before. I cry at about every single film ever but not like this. That being said, especially the 2nd episode felt very “how do you do fellow kids” and i’m like 99% sure that whole thing about the emojis is absolute bullshit (which is a shame because everything i’ve heard from older people about this show is solely focused on the emoji’s)
