Uzumaki

Uzumaki is one of my favourite books of all time so i literally HAD to love this. The animation style is very cool, reminded me a bit of the game neverending nightmares, very creepy, very uncanny. The first episode was perfection, exactly what i had hoped for. I actually like that the stories are all happening more simultaneously than in the book, where it seemed more like monster-of-the-week than eternal curse slowly growing its power. That being said the longer it went on, the more it felt rushed. What felt in the book like a grotesque cosmic body horror finale, felt like an afterthought here. Shame.
