Before Sunset
Baby, you are gonna miss that plane.
I know.
halfway through the before marathon and honestly im never getting over the car scene it might be one of my favourite scenes ever
seeing this in a packed cinema was one of the best experiences ever the gasp at jesse saying "i know" and the gasp when the film ended was honestly incredible also the reaction to jesse seeing celine before his wedding was heartbreaking.
during this watch, the car scene hit so much harder jesse admitting he dreams about celine really got me and loved how vulnerable they both were.
And then I have this other dream where you're pregnant in bed beside me naked...and I want so badly to touch you, but you tell me not to and you look away. And I... And I touch you anyway... ...right on your ankle, and your skin is so soft that I wake up in sobs, all right? My wife is there looking at me, and I feel I'm a million miles from her.
like oh my god hearing jesse admit he's been thinking about celine for 9 years straight kills me.
In the months leading up to my wedding, I was thinking about you all the time. I mean, even on my way there; I'm in the car, a buddy of mine is driving me downtown and I'm staring out the window, and I think I see you, not far from the church, right? Folding up an umbrella and walking into a deli on the corner of 13th and Broadway. And I thought I was going crazy, but now I think it probably was you.
I lived on 11th and Broadway.
You see?
knowing that these two were so close but just passed each other kills me.
