Alien

Ughh I love this movie so much, it’s such a classic and considering it was made in the 70s, it looks pretty good. Gotta say though, genuinely thought I was gonna have a seizure towards the end with the excessive flashing lights. I still can’t get over how this movie was made to represent motherhood and forced pregnancy which sounds crazy at first, but when you watch and really think, it’s both amazing and terribly disturbing (in a good way). The message James was trying to convey is really important and it’s good to see it snuck into a movie of this time period. Also, Sigourney Weaver in this movie awakened something in me when I first watched it at like fifteen or fourteen.. I can’t wait to do a rewatch of the whole franchise.
