Hereditary
The acting in this movie was absolutely brilliant. Despite how awful and disturbing it was, the scene where Charlie died was my favourite, because of how raw and true Peter's response was. He didn't scream, or freak out flailing around and crying, it was complete stillness. You could painfully feel through the screen every ounce of dread, fear and guilt he was feeling in that moment, and it genuinely made me cry. I honestly feel so bad for his character, because even though he could've looked after Charlie better, I can't imagine what he was going through, especially with his grieving mother paying no mind to his feelings. Also, I feel like he was kinda valid for being weird with his mum since he woke up to her LITERALLY TRYING TO LIGHT HIM ON FIRE, LIKE HELLO? Why was Annie acting like that's a totally normal thing to do when sleepwalking. Anyway, brilliant movie, and well done. (Though the CGI was a little iffy in parts)
