Magnolia

Finished all the ‘Must Watch’ PTA films which turns out being most of his fucking filmography because they are all bangers. Maybe I just haven’t seen enough films but I absolutely love how the lack of a main character is used so god damn well to make you care for all the characters’ stories to similar extents. Everybody here is at the top of their game, the pacing at one point was so great to the point where I didn’t wanna leave my house to play football 6 a side… The score is wonderful and makes the 2nd act so much more engaging, and the use of those long tracking shots was so so good especially in the first half. Like I said I know I haven’t seen many films, but so far pta is my absolute FAVE director no competition. Ribbet
