Obsession

I wasn’t sure about how this was going to be a horror film over just another amped up thriller. I was very wrong. The lead actress was phenomenal, she was terrifying and commanded the ambience in every scene she was in. The score was surprisingly memorable. The cinematography was very much something of its own.I feel guilty for liking the ending as dark as it was. The main “protagonist” actually being just a straight villain really sets the theme. I can see this being one of my favorites this year.
