someone told me once that the best movies are those who make you question your reality. this movie does an excellent job of reverse engineering the concept of human identity by honing in on the ways in which we construct our narratives personally and for others. what are the events that made you who you are? what are the environments that make you come out of your shell? are those intrinsic to you, or just part of a narrative that you tell others of yourself? this is the kind of movie that makes me believe in the power that films can have in making long-lasting impacts on viewers
