Chloe pierced through every organ in my body and, as I cried, Jessie Buckley hit me with a bat repeatedly. This was a surprise to me because I don’t love period dramas, am violently illiterate when British people speak, and tragedies frustrate me… but here we are, reflecting on how the most beautiful art is often born from adversity. I love movies and I guess I also love Shakespeare now??
